Lindsey Ann West

Lindsey Ann West’s practice areas are very diverse and include, but are not limited to: Family Law, Divorce, Custody Disputes, Pre and Post Nuptial Planning, Guardianships, Adoptions, Criminal Law, Real Estate Transactions and Litigation, Landlord/Tenant Matters, Probate, and Will and Trust Matters.

While in law school, Lindsey served as a legal intern to United States Magistrate Judge, Thomas E. Morris, in the Middle District of Florida.  In addition, Lindsey completed a Legal Internship Program for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Jacksonville Division of the Middle District of Florida.   Lindsey also served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Review and as a teaching assistant for Tort Law.  Lindsey graduated magna cum laude; in the top 2% of her law school class of 466.  During her tenure in law school, Lindsey completed certificate programs in Family Law and Legal Writing and she earned highest grade recipient awards in six law school classes including: Constitutional Law, Professional Responsibility, Florida Practice and Procedure, Juvenile Justice, Florida Constitutional Law, and Family Law Mediation.

After graduating law school, Lindsey became an Associate Attorney at the Plante Law Group, PLC in Tampa, Florida.  During her years working with The Plante Law Group, PLC, Lindsey gained invaluable experience representing clients with issues involving numerous aspects of Family Law and Domestic Relations Law, including but not limited to, high value divorces, interstate custody disputes, and divorces involving business interests.  Lindsey also represented clients with Guardianship, Probate, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense matters.

Lindsey left The Plante Law Group, PLC to return to the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her family. Upon arriving in Maryland, Lindsey became a Law Clerk to the Honorable Brian D.
